A square of cast glass worked into a relief that reads like growth underwater. Tendrils thin to almost nothing, then thicken into real weight, with no sign of which way is up or whether the forms are rising or settling. The Marceau panel holds in that suspension, its green running deep at the base and letting the light through at the top. Made by hand in clay, cast in fire, cooled over days into a stillness that still looks like motion.

We cast the Marceau from a single undulating line and let the kiln decide the rest, so the same form comes back clear and nearly weightless one firing and near-black to amber the next, color carried through the body of the glass rather than laid on top, never the same piece twice.
